The Story Behind Moorooah
I started Moorooah in 2010 because I wanted to wear something that felt like me.
I imagined myself with long, curly, messy hair flowing freely around my face, wearing clothes that moved with my body. I wanted something feminine and sexy, but also mysterious, strong and free.
I couldn’t find clothes that expressed that feeling, so I started creating them myself.
For me, the fabric always comes first. When I touch a fabric, I can already imagine how it will move, how it will fall around the body, and what kind of woman might wear it.
That is where Moorooah begins.
The name Moorooah has become deeply personal to me. It represents the woman I imagined when I first started — a woman who is free to move, free to change her mood, and free to show different sides of herself.
She doesn’t have to be just one woman.
She can be many.
That is Moorooah.
